Composed by Anna Coughlan. Blues,Contemporary,Instructional,Jazz. Score and part. 6 pages. Anna Coughlan Music #922885. Published by Anna Coughlan Music (A0.1337079).

An early intermediate Bb saxophone solo with piano accompaniment, introducing the foundations of jazz improvisation and the 12 bar blues. Over two repetitions of the standard 12 bar blues pattern, the solo uses the American blues scale in G, swung quavers and jazz triplets to illustrate some easy riffs and ideas players can build on in their improvisations.

Please note the audio sample features flute with piano in order to demonstrate the tune.

This product was created by a member of ArrangeMe, Hal Leonard’s global self-publishing community of independent composers, arrangers, and songwriters.
